Port in and out easily
Unlike many other VoIP providers, eVoice doesn't allow you to transfer local numbers you've purchased from their platform. You're basically renting the number rather than owning it outright. If you attempt to transfer the number against their customer agreement (and eVoice reviews online), you could face an automatic $500 charge, as outlined in the terms you agree to when signing up for eVoice.
